Identity Implementation

In 2012 Debney Park Secondary College became Mount Alexander College – a new school. The new name references the school’s long history in its current location, and its landmark position in the Flemington community.

To address and reverse declining enrolments at this State Government secondary school Blaze Solutions Group developed a growth strategy that included four areas of focus:

Physical environment;
Leadership and Change Management;
Teaching and Learning; and
Curriculum.

With the identity concept already partially developed, Paraph revised and built on what had already been approved by the school council and became instrumental in the identity implementation consisting of brand guidelines, stationery and the design of an open day poster.

Working together with Blaze Solutions Group to rename and rebrand the school including introducing a uniform, updating the internal and external buildings, grounds, and developing an integrated marketing plan.

We managed creative development and implementation of new name, brand mark, visual language and all associated print and digital collateral, stationery, website, and internal and external signage and wayfinding system. Enrolments at the school have since increased by more than 30% over 18 months.

A system was developed for internal and external signage and way finding as well as banners to promote the school at open days and school functions.

Digital Guidelines

Digital guidelines were developed to ensure consistency when sending files to external suppliers and to educate staff in the proper use of identity elements and templates.
